Developers of radio-electronic equipment in the microwave range are increasingly using imported low-pass filters to suppress electromagnetic interference in power circuits and pulse signals [1], which allows the development to be carried out more reliably and more quickly. But for this it is necessary to understand and be able to analyze foreign information about filters: catalogs, advertising sheets, a more detailed description of a specific type of filter (data sheet) in order to correctly select the necessary filters. The journal "Components and Technologies" published a similar material about foreign radio frequency connectors [2]. This article is intended to help consumers and distributors navigate foreign information about miniature low-pass filters used in electronic equipment.

Waveguide microwave chambers are considered that implement various processes of material processing in a microwave electromagnetic field, when the material passes through a series of chambers in a continuous flow, crossing each of them in a plane parallel to the narrow wall of the waveguide. The relative position of the passage slots in the waveguide, their length, width, as well as methods of protecting the entrance and exit of the chamber from parasitic electromagnetic radiation are determined. Methods for measuring the current dielectric characteristics of the material are analyzed.
