The diameter of the cylindrical part of the tip is 3 mm.
The beveled end at 45 degrees. At the end of the cut there is a spoon-shaped notch.
Due to the forces of surface tension, a drop of solder is retained in this recess.
This tip shape is ideal for surface mount components and as a general purpose tip.
 
Attention! All durable chrome-plated blades are factory-tinned. Due to filling with solder during tinning on a new tip, the notch is not visible visually.
To make sure there is a notch, heat the tip to the melting point of the solder and remove the solder from the tip of the tip.

    подскажите данное жало подходит для работы с бессвинцом ?

    те будет ли оно держать высокие температуры не обгорая ?

      Добрый день!

      Любое долговечное хромированное жало может быть использовано при паке бессвинцовыми припоями, и в любом случае ресурс жала будет снижен. Это естественно, т.к. влияние повышенной температуры не проходит бесследно. 

      Ресурс жала зависит от толщины хромированного покрытия. Однако слишком увеличивать толщину хрома чревато ухудшением теплопередачи, ведь хром хуже проводит тепло, чем медь. 

      Производитель жала - PLATO - это известный бренд, делает качественную продукцию.
